VI Asset Management (VIAM) adds investment team duo in its private credit expansion efforts.
VIAM today announced two new appointments in its Asia private credit investment team.
Jervois Chew joins VIAM as Associate Director, Capital Solutions and will focus on private credit deal origination, deal execution and portfolio management activities (subject to MAS licensing approval) with an emphasis on Southeast Asia. Jervois brings with him more than a decade of corporate finance experience. Prior to joining VIAM, Jervois spent 11 years at CIMB Singapore where he most recently served as Associate Director in the Investment Banking division. Jervois will be based in VIAM’s Singapore office.
Steven Chan joins VIAM as an Associate and will support the investment team’s deal origination, deal execution and portfolio management activities. Steven joins from EmergeVest, where he was most recently Senior Associate (private equity). He started his career at PwC Deal Advisory in Hong Kong. Steven will be based in VIAM’s Hong Kong office.

Currently the Group has AUM of approximately US$11.3BN (as of 31 December 2021) with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
